These objectives include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Enhancing psychological intervention:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Provide coaches with tools and knowledge to better understand the psychological aspects that influence athletes&#8217; performance.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Promote the use of emotional regulation techniques, goal setting, and self-confidence development.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Optimizing Communication:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Train coaches in effective communication skills to improve interaction with their athletes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Promote communication that motivates, supports, and constructively guides athletes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Promoting Well-being and Inclusion:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Create a training environment that not only seeks athletic performance but also the overall well-being of athletes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Develop strategies that promote inclusion and equity in sports, ensuring all athletes have the opportunity to thrive.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Structure of the PSYCOACH Course<\/strong><br>The PSYCOACH course is structured into five thematic modules, each designed to address different crucial aspects of sports training. These modules are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Understanding the Athlete:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Explore how coaches can better understand their athletes, identifying<br>their needs and motivations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Focus on the athlete&#8217;s attitude, highlighting positive and negative<br>aspects that can influence performance.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Sports Performance and Psychological Skills:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Define what sports performance is and the psychological skills<br>necessary to achieve it.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Provide practical strategies to develop these skills in athletes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Effective Communication:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Teach communication techniques that coaches can use to improve<br>their interaction with athletes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Emphasize the importance of communication in team motivation and<br>performance.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Tools for Conscious Training:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Introduce the intervention procedure based on Joan Vives&#8217; chain of<br>consciousness.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Provide practical tools to enhance awareness and concentration<br>during training.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Giving an Opportunity to Inclusion:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Address the importance of inclusion in sports and how coaches can<br>foster an inclusive environment.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Provide strategies to ensure all athletes, regardless of their<br>backgrounds, feel valued and supported.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Methodology and Resources<\/strong><br>The PSYCOACH course employs a practical and accessible methodology designed to be completed in approximately two and a half months. Coaches will have access to an online platform where they can view training videos, access practical resources, and participate in a discussion forum.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br><strong>Interaction and Continuous Support<\/strong><br>To ensure a comprehensive learning experience, the course includes two live Zoom sessions. These sessions will take place after modules 2 and 3, and again after modules 4 and 5, allowing participants to clarify doubts and deepen their understanding of the acquired knowledge.<br>The discussion forum is another key tool of the course, where coaches can share experiences, resolve doubts, and receive support from both peers and the instructional team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The PSYCOACH Project is an innovative initiative aimed at improving coach training in the sports field, with a particular focus on psychological aspects and communication.
